“The staff here are amazing and go above and beyond to make you feel welcome and make sure you have everything you need. The rooms were clean albeit a bit of rubbish between the twin beds, but dry goods we just put in the bin. Thank you for making a stressful journey into a happy nights stay!”

“This hotel has plenty of potential — and moments of genuine comfort — but it falls short of what it could easily become. The room was spacious, with an impressively large bed that offered near-American levels of comfort. The television, around 25 inches, was adequate for a short stay, and the tea and coffee facilities were functional, though lacking small touches such as Earl Grey tea or brown sugar for morning coffee. One serious concern, however, was the bathroom. There were no safety mats (forced to use a towel) or enough grab rails, which could pose a risk for anyone with mobility issues — or even families with young children. Guests should exercise caution. Breakfast was, in many ways, the highlight. Beautifully plated and surprisingly generous — I was even asked if I preferred singles or doubles of everything, and naturally chose doubles. That said, service consistency was lacking: no tea, toast, or juice was offered, and guests were left to fetch them themselves. At £10.99, breakfast is an additional charge on top of a £53 room rate — a reasonable price overall, but one that could offer far better value with just a little more attention to detail and consistency in service.”
